The Year of Leadership: 52 Weeks, 52 Lessons
Leadership is a journey, not a destination.
After more than two decades of navigating challenges, scaling teams, and building a career driven by purpose, I’ve realized that the lessons I’ve learned could resonate beyond my experience. That’s why I’m committing to sharing 52 lessons over 52 weeks—focusing on leadership, personal growth, and legacy. The first post goes live this week—yes, I’m starting a little late to have it line up perfectly with 2025, but hey, progress over perfection. Either way, stretch goals, am I right?
Why This Series?
I believe that leadership isn’t confined to the workplace; it’s about how we lead ourselves, our families, and those who look to us for guidance. I’ve always aspired to lead in a way that balances work, family, and personal growth, leaving a legacy that my children can carry on with them.
This series is my way of growing as a person and a leader while bringing you along on the journey. By reflecting on the moments that defined my path—both successes and failures—I hope to foster conversations that inspire mutual growth. I started this project years ago, and now, with renewed motivation, I’m ready to see it through. I know I’m not the best writer, but I’m sure I’ll get better over time. So, here’s to finishing what I started and growing along the way.
What Can You Expect?
Over the next 52 weeks (give or take), I’ll be diving into five key themes: leading through uncertainty, building resilient teams, balancing ambition with family, navigating digital transformation, and growing through adversity. Each week, we’ll explore one lesson in depth, blending my experiences with yours. I’ll share my perspective, but I’m just as eager to learn from you. I’m also hoping this journey helps me connect with a great team again. 😉
Why You Should Join Me
This isn’t just my story; my hope is to inspire meaningful discussions that spark growth and new perspectives. By engaging with this series, we can collectively explore what it means to lead with impact, resilience, and authenticity. Whether you’re an experienced executive, a mentor, or someone aspiring to grow into a leadership role, I want you to engage with this series. Share your thoughts, your challenges, and your own lessons learned. Together, I’m hoping we can build up our own community of leaders or simply get to know each other better. I know there are a million of these communities out there, but I want to bring together like-minded people who just get it.
Let’s Begin
